Chris, along with his wife Jessica, began serving as the Youth Pastor on May 19th, 2013.
Born and raised in Highland, Chris grew up in a strong Christian-rooted home, where he attended First Baptist Church. At the age of 11, Chris dedicated his life to Christ and was baptized in his home church. Youth Group was always a passion for Chris; it was one that began when he first attended as a youth himself. The numerous retreats, concerts, camps, mission trips, etc. have held a special place in his heart and have helped shape him into the person he is today.
While attending college at Murray State University in Kentucky, Chris married his wife Jessica, and shortly after the two began their family together (with their dog, Malachi). Upon collegiate graduations, Chris and Jessica moved back to Highland in 2011 and “officially” started their family when their son Micah was born in early 2013.
The excitement of being back with a youth group and having the capability to share the same experiences he was once given is simply amazing!
