Continue to Pray for Promise Home!

We sent our first team of missionaries to serve with Promise Home in Honduras from April 3rd through April 10th, 2013 with great success. We then followed on with two smaller trips where we sent folks down to get a vision for what God is doing in Honduras. Now we are preparing to send a large team in June of 2014! Please join us in prayer as we continued to develop this relationship and serve the orphans and families there!

Have an announcement you want to share?

Every week we make "Announcement Sheets" available during our worship gatherings.  These sheets contain information about events that are happening in and around Family Bible Church and our community.  Have you ever thought, "Hey.  I wish I could put ______ in there!  I wonder how I do that?"  Well, wonder no more....

Just write a quick note to announcements@familybc.org, and we'll include your information in future announcement sheets.  Please specify how long you'd like it to run.  If you don't specify a time, we'll only include it once.  Happy sharing!

      Word for the Day

It is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.” Since we have that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore speak, because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you to himself. All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
